Straight Up is the name of the church youth club run for older teenagers. It meets between 8:00pm and 10:00pm on Fridays during term-time, and anyone in school years 9-13 is welcome to come along.
To give a flavour of what straight up is like, in the past year we have: been rollerskating, bowling, ice skating, night hiking, played wide games in woods, had quiz nights, music nights, games in the park, DVD nights, drama nights, and even had an entertainment filled weekend away.
Alongside all of this fun, the most important thing we do is talk about who Jesus is; we talk about the big questions that face us in life, and how the bible is relevant to us today.
