Russell Knell
Pastor / Elder
I grew up in a Christian family, for which I''m very grateful as it helped me to get to know Jesus myself from an early age. Life since then has been full of opportunities and challenges to trust him more and experience his love for me. I''m married to Steph and we have three children, who alternately put up with or participate in my love of watching sport, playing games and searching for a successor to The West Wing.

Wayne Campbell
Church Treasurer / Elder
I became a Christian at university, partly owing to the love and generosity of the folk I encountered at church there. My wife Gemma and I moved to Stevenage and started attending Longmeadow in 2005, and since then God has blessed us with three children. In 2011 I formed part of the team that planted Immanuel Evangelical Church in the Symonds Green area of Stevenage, which is where I can now most often be found of a Sunday. Seeing God at work in small group of His people has been really encouraging and a good reminder that it''s only through God''s grace that we can serve Him. I''m a keen reader (science-fiction mainly) and baker of home made bread.

I became a Christian at University, where I also met my wife, Janet. Moved to Stevenage for a job in 1967 and have been involved with the Church since then. We have three grown up children, whom we love visiting. I am semi-retired from my job in publishing and am an avid armchair supporter of Crystal Palace Football Club.
